Andrew Sather is founding partner of Hyperspectral Capital, a fund he started in 2026 after nine years as a partner at Initialized Capital in San Francisco. At Initialized he backed frontier technology, space, and robotics companies at pre-seed and seed with checks between $1 million and $4 million, following operating roles at Google and Stripe. He led the investment in Star Catcher, which is building a space-based power grid to beam energy to satellites, and backed Trilobio, a lab automation robotics company for biologists.
