Anirudh Pai is founder and CEO of Proprio Robotics, a San Francisco company building physical AI and custom hardware to automate data center assembly, maintenance, and decommissioning. He holds a master's in EECS from UC Berkeley's BAIR program, where he focused on computer vision and dexterous robotic manipulation, and has worked with NVIDIA's GR00T team on dexterous manipulation models. He started the company with a small founding team of robotics researchers from Berkeley AI Research and Harvard's AI and Robotics Lab, targeting the roughly 400,000 unfilled data center technician jobs in the United States, with robot deployments planned to begin in Q1 2027.
