Ariyan Kabir is co-founder and CEO of GrayMatter Robotics, a Los Angeles company that builds AI-driven robots for manufacturing tasks like sanding, grinding, and polishing. He founded the company in 2020 with USC professor Satyandra Gupta and engineer Brual Shah, after finishing a PhD in robotics and AI at the University of Southern California, where he stayed on as a postdoctoral researcher. He began his doctoral work at the University of Maryland and holds a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
