Arthur Garzon is CEO of Narion Technologies, an early-stage startup building autonomous aerial robots with manipulator arms to service equipment such as high-voltage power lines, work too dangerous or hard to reach for people. He is a recent UC Santa Barbara mechanical engineering graduate who built 28 drones over three years, self-taught in avionics, controls, and embedded systems. Before Narion, he interned at Zone 5 Technologies on computer vision for a counter-UAS drone, and built Yavin Systems, an earlier venture using LiDAR drones to inventory forests for timber companies.
