Cagla Kaymaz is a partner at Category Ventures, an early-stage fund based in San Francisco investing in enterprise software and AI infrastructure, including its first physical AI bets. She led the firm's seed investment in Antioch, a robot simulation startup working to close the sim-to-real gap for autonomous systems, and backed Soma Energy, which coordinates power for AI data centers. Before Category, she invested at Citi Ventures and worked as a software engineer at Microsoft. She holds degrees from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard.
