Calvin Chin is managing partner of E14 Fund, the early-stage venture firm affiliated with MIT that makes first institutional checks into MIT-connected founders building deep tech, robotics and hardware companies. He previously founded Qifang, China's first online student loan platform, and later ran Transist, an incubator for impact-driven startups. E14 Fund has backed Bonsai Robotics, Charge Robotics and Foundation EGI. Chin holds a BA from Yale and an MBA from TRIUM, and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
