Carl Choi is President, US at RLWRLD, a Seoul based startup building a dexterity-first robotic foundation model for humanoid hands. He joined in January 2026 after years in venture investing, as a partner at Alumni Ventures and a principal at Solasta Ventures, backing robotics and AI startups. Earlier he held corporate strategy roles at Upwork and Riverbed Technology and worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
