Lucas Vaz is founder and General Partner of Ravelin Capital, a San Francisco fund investing in critical industries including defense, space, energy, and industrial automation. Early checks include Hadrian, the automated aerospace and defense manufacturer now valued near 8 billion dollars, along with satellite maker Apex and agricultural robotics company Orchard Robotics. He founded Ravelin in 2023 after building a track record in early-stage technology investing, and holds a degree in management information systems, finance, and entrepreneurship from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
