Mihir Somalwar leads robotics and innovation at Hensel Phelps, where he has worked since 2022 running Diverge, the construction company's venture arm that invests in and deploys robotics and autonomy technology on active job sites. He previously spent two years as a robotics engineer at SafeAI, building autonomous vehicle technology for mining and construction equipment, and interned in manufacturing engineering at Tesla on the Model 3 assembly line. He holds a master's degree in robotics and mechatronic systems from Santa Clara University.
