Patrick Stone is co-founder and CEO of Fieldstone Bio, a Woburn, Massachusetts company that pairs engineered microbial sensors with hyperspectral imaging and artificial intelligence to map gold, copper, and other critical minerals directly at exploration and mining sites. The core technology originated in MIT professor Christopher Voigt's synthetic biology lab. Before Fieldstone, Stone spent about twenty years in the US federal government, working as a technology manager and strategic project manager on public private collaboration. He co-founded the company in 2023.
