Peter Ludwig co-founded Applied Intuition in 2017 and leads the software that runs on more than fifty hardware platforms, from passenger cars to L4 trucks moving commercial loads in Japan. Before Applied he was an engineer at Google. His July essay for a16z argues that the limiting variable in physical AI is no longer the model but the system that validates and deploys it, and his December testimony to the House Select Committee on the CCP put Chinese connected vehicles on the record as a national security question.
