Radu Rusu is managing partner at Exponential, the early-stage venture studio Cox Enterprises runs for AI and robotics founders. He holds a doctorate in computer science from the Technical University of Munich and created the Point Cloud Library, the open source toolkit that became a standard for 3D perception in robotics. He later co-founded and led Fyusion, a 3D capture company acquired by Cox Automotive in 2021. Exponential's portfolio includes greenhouse robotics company Hippo Harvest, manufacturing automation startup Launchpad, and recycling sorting robot maker Glacier.
