Rishav Agarwal is perception lead at Gritt Robotics, a construction robotics startup automating tasks like solar panel placement on job sites. He joined in 2025 to build multimodal perception for autonomous manipulation outdoors. Before Gritt, he was a deep learning engineer at Intrinsic, Google's robotics automation platform, co-developing a foundation model for pose estimation, after two years as a senior engineer at Akasha, a computer vision startup acquired by Google. He holds a master's in mathematics and computer science from the University of Waterloo and a bachelor's in economics from IIT Kanpur.
