Ryan McCrackan is a Principal at Yamaha Motor Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Yamaha Motor Co. He evaluates early stage startups in agriculture technology, robotics, and digital health. He previously worked in corporate development at Carbon Health and in investment banking at Cain Brothers and Prairie Capital Advisors. His fund's portfolio includes Verge Ag, a precision farming software company, and Strella Biotechnology, which builds IoT sensors that track fruit ripeness through the supply chain. He holds an MS in Finance from DePaul University and is a CFA charterholder.
