Sebastien Willems is founder and CEO of Antfarm, an Amsterdam robotics company building autonomous swarm robots that sort recyclable waste at material recovery facilities. He studied at Hogeschool Utrecht and spent more than a decade building Presspage, a PR software company he co-founded and sold to Banyan Software in 2025. After stepping down from Presspage, he took a sabbatical before starting Antfarm to cut waste sorting costs and undercut virgin plastic on price. Antfarm's small robots use cameras and computer vision to pick recyclables off warehouse floors.
