Vinay Shet is co-founder and CEO of Teleo, which retrofits heavy construction and mining equipment for remote and supervised autonomous operation. He holds a PhD and a master's in computer science from the University of Maryland and a bachelor's from BITS Pilani. Before co-founding Teleo with Romain Clement in 2019, Shet was director of product management for Lyft's self-driving unit and a senior product manager at Google, working on Street View and geo data. Havoc acquired Teleo in March 2026, and the company continues operating under its own brand. He is based in Palo Alto.
