Vivin Hegde is founding and managing partner of Zacua Ventures, an early stage venture firm investing in robotics, automation, and industrial technology for the built environment, with offices in San Francisco, Madrid, and Singapore. He spent six years at McKinsey advising industrial clients, then eight years at Hilti, where he built the company's US corporate venture arm and led its joint venture with Trimble. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Zacua has backed construction robotics companies Gravis Robotics, Raise Robotics, and Track3D.
